Synopsis : Juno McGuff, 16 years old, is a young girl who doesn't have the tongue in her pocket but which, under its airs of hard, is searching himself like all the teenagers of its age. Whereas the majority of her girlfriends of college spend their time on Internet or to the shopping mall, Juno doesn't do anything like the others. Thus one day when she is bored, she sleeps with Bleeker, boy as charming as few pretentious.
But when she accidentally falls pregnant, she decides to find the couple of adoptive parents ideal which will be able to deal with her baby. With the assistance of her best friend Leah, she locates in the classifieds of the local newspaper Mark and Vanessa Loring which dream to adopt their first child. Supported by her family, Juno met the Loring. While the term of its pregnancy approaches, Juno will have to show of maturity and courage…
Ellen Page is masterly in her role of Juno, this changes from his role of a little psychopathe in “Hard Candy". In spite of its paces of Teenage Movie, “Juno” is far from being one, preferring the family environment with characters all more attaching the ones to the others (her father, her girl friend, her step-mother,…) following the example of the marvellous comedy “Little Sunshine Miss” left at the end of 2006. 
The dialogs are crusty and the situations enough cocasses, Juno is far from being a model and wedged little girl. This American comedy is really a great success, thanks to an effective scenario carried out by Jason Reitman, the director whom already knew for his not less delirious “Thank You For Smoking”. If you like comedies and you want to change from french comedy, this film is made for you!
